Senior Project Manager
My construction career began in Manhattan, following completion of my master’s degree in Construction Management from Columbia University. At that time, I joined the acclaimed Sciame Construction of New York, NY. At Sciame, I was part of a Manhattan based construction management firm well known in New York for their ability to build highly designed and technically sophisticated projects, on time and on budget. The Greene Street Luxury Condominiums in SoHo, the Fulton Street Lofts in the Financial District, and the complete renovation of the United Jewish Appeal were a few of the projects I had the pleasure to be involved with while at Sciame. I moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in the early 2000’s and have completed dozens of projects here from single family homes to large scale commercial.
I oversee all aspects of the scope of work on the project including, but not limited to, preparation of all RFP/RFQ’s, coordination with Tripp on evaluating and vetting General Contractors, consultants, bid preparation, documentation management, contract administration, evaluation and normalization of all proposals, cost estimates and bids. My strengths are construction management, engineering and a love of mathematics which allows me to efficiently manage the day to day operations, ensuring all proposals and costs align with the project budget.
With a passion for life, when I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife, walking our two dogs, skiing in the winter, and whitewater rafting in the summer.
It is exciting to be engaged in the shaping of the built environment of the Roaring Fork Valley area as part of True North Management.
